Winnipeg-based Melos Folk Ensemble was formed in November 2005, bringing together some of the city's finest, and most experienced choral and solo vocal performers, and musicians. With a passion for the melody and harmony of their musical heritage, these gifted performers proudly present a large and diverse repertoire of Ukrainian folk music.

Melos Folk Ensemble astounds its audiences with fresh, dynamic, and energetic performances in many variations. Their combined talents easily adapt to many concert demands - Melos entertains at any given moment as a women's chorus, a men's chorus, a mixed chorus, and orchestral ensemble. Melos Folk Ensemble adds another exciting dimension to its performance capabilities by working with existing Ukrainian- Canadian dance groups to provide a complete, full-cast performing company.
